The Hammock Recliner, previously known as The Hammock Chair, has been redesigned for exceptional comfort and durability. Genuine nylon is used throughout the hammock because nylon has the highest tensile strength and the best resistance to ultraviolet (UV) of any fiber suitable for the manufacture of 'netting' hammocks. The 'All Weather' Hammock Recliner is fully weather resistant against mildew and rot. The hammock has been designed and developed in New Zealand, exclusively for Australasian climatic conditions.

The Hammock Recliner includes a 'compact' aluminium Spreader Bar for lightness and strength. The spreader bar is hand-engineered from high tensile alloy in three sections and then assembles to the full spreader width of 1250mm. The alloy bar is finished in exterior polyester powder coating and includes hammock 'safety catches'.

The Hammock is supplied with sufficient rope to suspend from a height of 2.4 meters, using a marine grade 316 stainless swivel-snap hook. Mesh/Fabric storage bag with draw cord included.
